Willow & Co - Poplar Pup Tent

So, I made a tent....no really. From purchasing and cutting the PVC pipes to sewing the outside this baby is made 100% by. I didn't come up with it all on my own of course, I followed an amazing pattern by an adorable and talented lady.

If you haven't seen this pattern yet you are missing out on some quick and easy summer fun. This is the Poplar Pup Tent by Willow & Co Patterns. It was designed by the adorable Elisa of Charming Doodle. It's part of the Glamping pattern collection so I decided to run with that as the theme for my version.

The pattern tells you exactly what you need to pick up at the hardware store and most places will even cut the pipes to size for you. For my tent I used an old daybed set that my parents dug out of their basement. It from the early 90's. Anyone else rock this awesome bedset?

The bedding set was twin size so I had to piece the flat and fitted sheet together to make it big enough. I also added lace to the edge to up the glam factor a little bit. After I pieced together my 'fabric' it took about 30 minutes to sew together. This seriously came together so quickly.

This turned out more adorable than I ever expected and my girls had so much fun during our little photo shoot. We've already had a couple living room camp out and I can see many more in our future.
I took a ton of pictures and they were just too cute not to share so if you are interested keep scrolling.

Willow & Co - Fawn Lily Dress Review

I'm back today to share yet another awesome pattern from the new Willow & Co Wanderlust pattern collection. This gorgeous dress is designed by Rebecca from Rock the Stitch

There are seriously SO many options to this pattern. The Fawn Lily has 3 length options, 2 yoke styles, and the skirt part can be pleated, gathered, or flat. It ranges in size from 3 months to 12 years. Maddie is sporting the size 9, A-line, above the knee version with POCKETS!Lately pockets have been on the top of Maddie's list of priorities. haha

There are no buttons or zippers and the sleeve construction is absolutely genius!
The back of the dress is just as cute as the front. ;)
Now for the Maddie poses. She's take any pics I request as long as she gets a few of her own poses in at the end. Enjoy.

The collection will be released on Tuesday, April 22nd. You won't want to miss it.

Willow & Co - Mulberry Tunic Review

Olga from Kid Approved is another one of the designers behind willow & co pattern collective. Their first pattern collection, Wanderlust will be released next Tuesday, April 22nd.

These ladies are seriously AMAZING! This particular design is the Mulberry Tunic. It has so many options. There are long or short sleeves as well as with or without the hood. The pockets are optional as well. My favorite part about this pattern is the little details and the overall quality of the pattern. The little front pocket, the way that the sleeves  are constructed. It's just adorable.

This is the size 10 with no adjustments. Maddie is almost 7 and very particular about her clothes. She picked out this fabric a while back and she decided this was the perfect fabric to use it on.
We are currently going through the toothless phase and I think it's about the cutest thing ever! Hope you enjoy this little sneak peak.

Willow & Co - Clover Shorts Review

Eight amazing ladies recently got together and created Willow & Co Pattern Company. Their first pattern collection is called Wanderlust and it releases Tuesday, April 22nd. I was lucky enough to be able to test a few of the pattern in the collection and will be sharing those throughout the seek.

First up is the Clover Shorts designed by Hayley from Welcome to the Mouse House/Mouse House Creations. I can see a ton of these for this summer for both my girls. Maddie is wearing the size 10 and the fit is great. Just enough room that she shouldn't grow out of them before the summer is up.
These shorts feature front pleats, cuffs, belt loops, and an elastic waist in the back. There are options for a sash as well as ruffles around the waistband. They go up to a size 12 so we will get to use then next summer as well.

Once we were done with pictures she decided it was her turn to choose the poses. I think she did a super cute job. :)
